Hard drive

    Hi I've pulled a sata hard drive out of an external case to put in a PC, the drive has no jumpers on, it i'm going to install it onto a sata11 3.0gb/s connector do I need jumpers to set it to 1.5gb/s it's a seagate 500gb drive

    If it works, then don't try and fix it.

    Is it a sata hard drive? If so Chances are you wont need to use jumpers.

    I was just saying that there is no need to change anything.

    I'm not even too sure you can change the jumpers on a SATA drive.
