Hard Drives

    Can you explain more, I don't really know what your talken about. Sorry, if you wanna know a good hard drive to get just say your budget or the rest of you system or whatever.

    Seek time: The lower the better, always in MS (milli seconds)

    The RPM: the higher the better; above 7200RPM you need SATA or SCIS cards or onboard.

    Buffer: The higher the better...Caviar for example drives are ussaly 8mb

    Quality name brand: look for Western Digital or Seagate for xample; dont try to 'save 20$' and buy a generic name brand over a serious company...only costs you at the end.

    Also I think you mean GB not MB ; GB = gigabyte (1000mb)

    You should have a fast small drive for your OS only to improve performance n' have all ur info on a seperate disk.
