Where are you getting this message from?

98.126.11.142 belongs to a hosting company called krypy.com. It may be that you are trying to access something on one of their servers. It could also be some kind of an attack from someone using their service.

Your D-Link must do things I'm not familiar with. It actually sends you alerts? I'll have to check it out.

In any case, that's who owns the IP address so it's someone or something from them or someone that is hosting with them.

Ok...? so0o now what.. don't worry about it. Should i take action? Not really sure how to do all that. I called my ISP, but I know they will not do anything. I did that before when I was getting port scans from china 1000 times a day. I'm still getting them! The same 5 IPs. They say "we can not do anything...don't worry about it...your firewall is blocking it." They did not seem overly concerned. I was playing with that D-shield thing and I got lost doing all that. "Sigh" .. know any good network monitoring software. i use to use net watchmen but what i have now does not work with what i have now

Everyone gets scanned constantly by bot computers looking for access to computers on various ports. That's what the firewall is for. As long as your firewall is doing it's job you shouldn't need to worry about it.

I still don't understand the original message though. "Dropped TCP packet from 98.126.11.142 to 2*.0.**5.* as unable handle packet header" That doesn't sound like a message you would get from a hardware firewall. That sounds more like a message from a browser error.
