I feel like im going to Lose my mind because I Tried to install Vista on my New comp and it was Blue screening me. Basicly, I do not know right now what the problem but do you think that it is possible that a BIOS update is the reason why I could not install VISTA correctly? Here was the process... I first deleted my partitions and put Vista on it, Later after the small installation When it trys to boot up it will not let me... So I tried turning stuff off in BIOS to see if it would work UUNNT! Wrong nothing worked. I tried everything But Downgrading the BIOS.http://www.abit-usa.com/engineered/vista/model.html That there shows my mobo is ready for Vista . To see all of the components I am using please refer to this Thread http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=124846

It shows u all the stuff I bought ... but I am really on the BIOS issue here , Because my RAM does not appear to show me any errors and everything has been working fine.. but yeah.. HELP!!! :spam :banghead

What would the code of the BSOD be, thats a great clue as to the issue?

In your specs you mention 2 GB ram and in the other thread 3GB, if you have 3GB or more take out and leave only 2gig out and install.

if you have 3gb or more ram then read this as it may fix the issue http://www.petri.co.il/cannot_install_update_windows_vista_kb929777.htm workaround and Hotfix download listed in the article.

Really need the Stop error, but also as you have SATA, you may need to install the Motherboard SATA/RAID drivers, even if your not using Raid, you dont these days need to put them on floppy but can have them on CD/DVD or USB adn on install use the LOAD DRIVER option, folllow the prompts and finish the install.
