    I put a simple Java script in an HML file I was writing, and the firewall warns me about it, I checked with a friend of mine and his warns him about it too...
    Here's the applet:
    <script language="JavaScript">
    <!--hide
    function OpenPopup(htmlfile)
    {
    window.open(htmlfile, "myWin", "status=no,scrollbars=yes,width=500,height=500");
    window.event.cancelBubble = true;
    window.event.returnValue = false;
    }
    //stop hiding-->
    </script>

    How do I let the firewalls know that it's harmless?

    You, uhh, don't :p Whats it saying is wrong with the code? Bear in mind it may detect it if it is running on your local HDD and think its spyware or somthing, which could POTENTIALLY be malicious.

    To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options...

    it's not your firewall.. it's IE's security settings.
