Harry Potter Game

    Hi Guys,
    I bought a Harry Potter game for my son yesterday. It loads up but when you start the game, he gets a general protection Error. History applint...something like that. I really don't know what to do, I don't want this game to be a complete waste of money.
    Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    Welcome to the forums.

    There are a couple of things you can try. First, go to the game's website and download the latest patch and run it.

    http://harrypotter.ea.com

    If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall the game, then apply the patch.
