Has anyone heard of a program called Mimic?

Someone i know has a pirated copy of this program called Mimic and I just want to know if anyone knows anything about it. It is suppose to copy dvds and ps2 games perfectly even with the copyright still attached. Does anyone know anything about this? If you do please reply.

Never heard of it. There are many programs (most are freeware) that will copy DVDs and quite a few that will compress or allow you to edit extra features to fit it to a 4.7 GB DVD. The data itself on PS2 discs are easy to copy with any disc copying program. The PS2 discs are protected by a special bar code pressed into the hub area of the disc itself. This cannot be copied or burned onto any recordable CD or DVD, preventing it from being used to play copied games in the PS2. Your friend has stolen a copy of a program with dozens of free alternatives.
