Has anyone tried..

the IP configuration utility from hoverdesk.net on win 98?I tried the reg seeker utility from there and was impressed it found over 1200 invalid registry entries after i had previously run ccleaner.I'd like to try this one too any good?

 

NAS. Ccleaner is not a registry cleaner. Neither is Cleanup! or EmpTemp. Try last free versions of RegCleaner and JV16 from http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/ Bazza

my version of ccleaner has a registry integrity check and firefox cache dump.ive tried regcleaner its ok but not very powerful.

 

I just used CCleaner and it found 92 issues in my registry,I backup my files and fixed them. Today I downloaded and ran RegCleaner,it only found 5,I try to keep my computer pretty clean. I formatted it 7 months ago,she's run'in very good ( knock on wood ).

 

NAS, my mistake. It's just that I don't think of Ccleaner as a registry cleaner. Think of it as a crap cleaner. Must adjust my thinking. I use RegCleaner and JV-16 as dedicated Registry Cleaners. Bazza
