hello all hope you are well,just wondering IF anyone else has had this problem & IF so how did you cure or fix it,

situation: running win 98se, on 256 ram with dsl,650 mhz,

your cking your email or going to a site & reading online paper or other site, (NO XXX site) and all of a sudden your computer locksup/freeze's,
( tapping CTRL,ALT,DELETE DOES NOTHING, ) nothing works & only way to unfreeze is to hold power switch in until comput/system reboots,

ran virus ck (NONE) running zA firewall, has this ever happened to you??

doesn't matter if your useing IE browser 5.5,,,6.1 or Opera, now & then without notice,

Umm, well, could be anything. Spyware, virus (you updated your definitions?)

 

Current on Windows Updates ? Might double check your pc's update history to make sure they all installed correctly. Just a thought.... CT
