hate ME

    I have windows Me. I know, boo. My question is,, can I install windows 98 SE right over the top of it?

    No, you would have to wipe ME out before installing Win98.

    can I just delete ME alone or wiil I have to wipe entire drive???

    If it is no big deal, wipe the drive and load 98 on it. Question though, would this machine be able to run Linux, since it is running WinME. Plus you may find that Linux may fit your tastes if all you do is Word Processing and Internet browsing.
