Without moving my Logitech optical mouse it will start moving upward by itself.
It looks clean to me. Any ideas?

Its been doing that for me too sometimes, are you sure the mouse is on a completely flat surface?

Cheap hardware I think. I have seen Dell's do this right out the box.

What does it have to do with Dell.
When I got the Logitech mouse it wasnt so cheap.
I have had it a couple years and it just lately started this moving on it's own.

What I am saying is that this might be a hardware issue. I was referencing to Dell because I think manufacturers are using cheap parts and charging too much.

    Tried other surfaces already.
I have not had any problems with Dell.
Just periferals like the mouse etc.

hey just wanted to say i paid $20 for this Logitech optical mouse i only had it for a few months and i must have droped it atless 10 times and it still works fine it is a usb mouse but i use it in the ps/2 port so maybe you just need to go buy a new one they are cheaper now

I've got the Logitech cordless optical mouse, have had it for two years. I've dropped it thrown it slammed it and it has always worked fine until latly and it has become haunted also, about the time I installed SP2 now that I think about it. Same surface I've always used it on and it wasn't cheap. So I'm thinking it has to do with SP2
