have 32 mb video card but need to run min. 64mg game...how

If my video card is not enough to run Civ IV, is there a way that I can still play it by fooling my system?

 

The Minimum System Requirements for the game are:

1 GHz CPU, 256MB RAM, and a 32MB video card with hardware transform and lighting capabilities.

The recommended Specifications are:

512MB of ram, Pentium4 processor (or equivalent), and a recent graphics card.


What happens if you try to play it, and what are your system specs?

 

Sometimes, but not always, you can set the AGP APERTURE (within the bios), to use some of your system ram as video ram. Trying increasing this.

But, typically, this will not work if this is from a Major OEM brand, as in HP, GW2k, or Dell.

 

From what I read you needed a 64 mb video card. I get a video memory error stating that my video memory is low My machine is a dell and thest are the specs.

The exact error is that yopu system has run out of video memory.Pleas try reducing your video settings.
