Have a Trojan that wont shift

    Picked up a Trojan today. PSW Briss.G . Avg showed its residing in File c:\windows\system\A exe can not be removed.
    It had another part called PSW Briss.E this was removed by Avg.
    I then shut down Avg and any other progs running then scanned with stinger and showed same result as Avg,that the file cannot be removed. Then i used Trojan remover 6.2 of which picked up nothing?
    So question is what sort of Trojan is it and do i expect any probs?
    How do i remove it?
    My system is Microsoft
    ME Mellenium
    x86
    amd duron
