I have a few movies that are ISO file types on my hard drive. The problem is that I don't have a dvd burner at this time, and I would like, if possible, to be able to watch these movies right from my hard drive. Is there software which will allow me to do this? I would be one happy camper if someone could help me out on this one! I've already found out that iso buster etc., is only useful to those who have a cd/dvd burner. HELP!!!!

You need emulation software that can create a "virtual" dvd drive.

I use freeware (for personal use) DaemonTools

You can create one or more virtual drives, and mount your iso on a drive, and then play your dvd from almost any software dvd player, including Windows Media Player.

The downside of DaemonTools, and *maybe* others like it, is that I have several games that pop an error message and refuse to load because "emulation software has been detected", so I have to un-install Daemon in order to play those games.

You could also use WinRar or TUGZip to extract the ISO image, then you can watch the resulting files with MediaPlayerClassic or VLC or GOM Player or just about media player that can handle DVD playback. You could probably even use something like HandBrake or Catalencoder to convert the extracted ISO to an AVI or something.... but converting video files can be a fairly involved and occasionally complicated affair.... So, either use the suggestion by gGrump above, or extract the ISO and then use a media player to watch the resulting file(s).... here's some links:

    7Zip http://www.majorgeeks.com/7-Zip_d4603.html (I'm not sure if this extracts ISO's)
