   I have two computers in my network. My laptop is wireless, while my desktop is wired. My laptop can get speeds of 500k/s and while my desktop putters along at 65k/s. The other day i was fixing my friends computer and had his box hooked up to the net. His computer even was downloading slowly, but back at his house, it was fast as hell. What is going on???
   
   EDIT: This is with the Linksys wireless B router.
