I think this is the fix you are looking for?

SpywareGuard run-time error 429 - read in for the fix!

Do you get the following error when you try to use SpywareGuard?

Run-time error '429':
ActiveX component can't create object

If so, you are missing a component that SpywareGuard requires to run.

To fix this error, download and install the Microsoft Windows Script Run-time from the appropriate link below. SpywareGuard should then function properly.

For Windows 9x, ME:

For Windows 2000, XP:

Windows XP should have the required files installed by default, but if you experience the same error you can use the download directly above.

Just download this file and add it to The registry then reinstall spywaregard
An error message 'MSCOMCTL.OCX" cannot be found' is displayed.

OR ERROR MESSAGE

An error message 'A required DLL file MSVBVM60.DLL was not found' is displayed when trying to run SpywareBlaster.

Please download and install the latest Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 run-times:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/Redist/sp5/WIN98Me/EN-US/vbrun60sp5.exe
You should then be able to use SpywareBlaster without any problems.
