Having problem with Sims Mega Deluxe game

I installed this game a couple of weeks ago, it worked fine, then the other day i turned it on and it froze after the intro video, so i uninstalled and reinstalled, it was fine. Now it dumps me right back to my desktop everytime i turn it on. I've already went to the help website that was no help, please try to help me with this. Windows xp home ed, version 2002 service pack 2. Direct x 9.0 Intel Celeron 1100 MHz Dell Optiplex GX150 Intel solano i815E 256MB ram 1.10GHz Intel(R) 82815 Graphics Controller. (i'm not sure if thats all the info you need, this is my first post).

I'm sorry, I don't understand, like i stated, I am new to this site, just needed a little help, I did'nt see anything in the other threads that had the same problem as me, and I tried some of the things mentioned but it's kind of difficult when you have minimal computer experiance, that is why I came to this site in the first place.
