having problems with my sound

im havng problems with my sound everything is right and i have double checked that its all right im using ac'97 audio contoller i dont know much about comptuers on this side of things i have troubleshooted it and still will not work speakers are plugged in properly when i play a song it plays but i have no sound at all was wondering if i could get help please

 

just download the drivers from this link. install and then restart your system. it would solve your problem.

The link posted above will only work if you have a RealTek audio chipset. If you do, great. If not, that driver won't even install. If it doesn't work, download, install, and run Everest. Look in the Devices section for your audio or sound information and post it here. Also post the make and model of the motherboard.
