Having Trouble Printing

After installing IE 8, I can print off of e-mail and Word, but not anything off the internet. It seems to schedule to print, but the print button at the bottom of the page when clicked... says 0 documents ready to print. I have to copy and paste internet items to Word to print at all. Also, any hyperlinks do not open. Is there a solution, or should I uninstall IE 8, and go back to 7. I am running Windows Vista Business. Also, IE8 is VERY SLOW TO LOAD.
