Having trouble recovering some lost data

Some files(mostly photos) were accidentally deleted from my HD, so I downloaded PC Inspector File Recovery to try and get them back. It finds them with no trouble, the problem I am having is recovering them though. I only have one HD and it tells me I should recover them to another drive or I will risk losing them. Ideally, I'd like to recover them to a CD/DVD but when I tell it to recover the files there(onto a blank disc in the corresponding drive) nothing happens. The last time I used this program(couple of years ago) I don't recall having this problem. Any help and advice much appreciated :)

    Hi

If I'm not mistaken you need to format that CD/CDRW/DVD/DVDRW first before you can save data to it as PC Inspector is not a CD Burner also, it needs a formatted CD/DVD which will then have a file system on it to save the files too.

If you have a USB Pen try saving to that also.

OK, many thanks - I'll give it a go :)
