Hi Guys! Long time fan, first time post, be gentle with me :)

Somehow managed to download Haxdoor.hm, most of the posts I had previously seen stem back to 2004-2006 so I'm either highly gifted or really retarded, as my laptop was new from the Dell factory as of December 2007...

I have followed your Malwear removal guide pretty much to a tee but cannot get Combofix to work for love nor money, even following the Bleeping computer guide. I have Vista which I suspect may be the problem??

I have (hopefully) attached both HJT and MBAM logs for your kind perusal. I added a HJT startup log for good measure...

I am at the end of my rope and my thesis for uni is hanging in the balance... Please help me?!

You need to attach the MGLogs.zip --> from running the MGTools.exe.

Sorry for delay. I couldn't find where my puter had hid it...

    Cheers.

You are really badly infected.....so the first thing I want you to do is to try a system restore to BEFORE Aug. 8 .....if you can, then you will probably need to re-download the programs and run them again.

If you can not ...go to Bitscan link: agree to the license and then select Scan. DO NOT CHANGE THE OPTIONS TO SHOW ALL FILES SCANNED. That will make your logs huge and we don't need to see clean files. Once Bitdefender completes the scan:

Click-on the Detected Problems tab. Then select Click here to export the scan report

When the window comes up to save the report, change the Save as type: box to Text (Tab Delimited) (*.txt) and then in the File name box enter change to bdscan then click save. This will save a file named bdscan.txt in whatever folder you are currently in when you save the file (take notice of where you are at so you can find it later). This bdcan.txt file will actually contain HTML code that we can easily view later while reviewing your log. All we have to do is rename the file to bdscan.html.
