I would like to copy my hard drive to the new build.
I understand that I should copy the os (win7) from my laptop to the ssd, but i have 245 gb on the laptop hd and only 120gb on ssd.????

Understand that SSD drives are still newer technology and frankly the speed difference is very small and the drives are stilll too small for most people who can use a 1 terabyte drive. I would keep my Windows on a normal drive and use the SSD for programs or games you need to run faster. Honestly the new SSD drives are best used for games. This is where the slight extra speed is useful.

P.S: If you currently have a laptop you can't just move your OS from the laptop to a new computer. Windows 7 will need to be reactivated and all your hardware will change. You are better off with a new copy of Windows 7 and installing it clean on your new computer. You just can't copy Windows 7 from computer to computer.
