HD Format problem

    hey guys, i was wondering if there is a way to format my HD with an external CD-Rom drive and no floppy drive, if there is please tell me and other how to do it , thanks in adavance

    there are many ways. one way is to boot from the windows 2000/xp disk and format it using the format utility. another way is to create your own boot cd using nero or something, putting the format.com file inside (assuming the cd won't have inherent support for that already). a third way (which costs money) is using partitionmagic for dos and booting that from a cd. thsi way is probably teh most powerful way to do it

    Also, remember to first change the boot sequence to "USB device first", (if applicable).
