ok so ive customised my own PC on Build Your Box and was debating whether to get a monitor or not i was going to go for a full HD 22" monitor although my GPU is a GTX 560 Ti 1GB will this GPU handle games in full HD?

Your card should be fine for 1920 resolution, although on the toughest games you might not be able to up the details to max, it should generally be a good performer.

If you want a good but reasonably priced 22 inch monitor than I recently spotted this one, the Samsung BX2231, a good write up of it there where it wins an award. It “excels at gaming and video”, I quote...

You could of course go for the Sammy 120Hz model everyone raves about for games but tbh unless you can get those in-game frame rates up towards 120, there might not be that much point there, as I understand it. And not sure the 560 will quite push frame rates up that high in that many games.... (60 is pretty smooth anyway, let's face it).

Of course the other option is a better colour/picture quality and go for IPS, but response time is generally sacrificed there. Though the Dell U2311 is a good option, end of line, might be able to get it cheap, and it actually has a fairly smooth response better than its rated 8ms.
