Hd stb,tv,dvd

Hello Folks! I just bought a HD STB, I have connected it to my TV and it works just fine, however can anyone tell me how I add a DVD player(surround sound) to the mix please?:confused

which box did you get? You probably have 2 or 3 different options, or maybe not depending on the tv and box you have. most tv's have multiple inputs. you will just have to use one of the others that isn't being used by the STB
If you're looking to connect audio to the surround sound (sounds like you have a home theater in a box) then just find the audio out from your tv and connect to the dvd. in turn, take the video out from the dvd and go to an input into your tv. more advanced things, like hdmi, well then you would need 2, 1 for the stb and 1 for the dvd, but unless it's blue ray, no need for it.
