HDD drive letter won't change?

Hello,
I'm trying to change the drive letter of a harddrive (not the system drive) using the Disk Management tool, but it just hangs up and doesn't change.
I need to change the letter so Premiere will be able to link up all the video footage on the drive.
I've never had problems with this before. Any ideas?

Windows XP SP3
250gb system drive
320gb hdd
500gb hdd for media (the drive in question)
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
Athlon X2 4200
GeForce 8600 GT
Antec 450 watt psu

 

If it's a USB-conected drive, then you can try USBDLM instead.

 

All the drives are internal SATA. Is there a separate app for that maybe?

 

I took the drive out and connected it with an external USB adapter, and that did the trick! For some reason, it refused to change the drive letter when it was inside the computer.
Now it's back inside and the letter is changed and everything is hunkey dorey.
