We use our desktop as the main file repository on our LAN but it's been showing this warning for quite some time now. Obviously I make sure its data is constantly backed up but should I replace it before real trouble hits?

I found one post with an Uncorrectable Sector Count at 200, the same as yours.

Apparently 200 is the highest it goes. I got lots of hits for 100.

Well that 200 number isn't the highest. I found a post with a count of 252 Uncorrectable errors.

A yellow caution symbol means replace the drive, especially if it is a boot drive; your's is not and you do back up but it still should be replaced.

Many thanks plodr, that's useful. I'd better sort it. Could waste hours recovering 6-7 years from backups. :)
