HDMI and VGA help

    I have a touchscreen computer connected to a flatscreen tv (also touchscreen). Until yesterday the connection was fine, that is, when I switched it on everything on the computer screen was displayed on the tv flatscreen. Yesterday I switched on the tv screen and was confronted with the notorious blue screen and an obnoxious message saying "not supported" on HDMI mode and "no signal" in VGA mode. My operating systme is WIndows Vista. Any advice would earn my eternal gratitude.
