Hi everyone. I brought a Inspiron 560 from The Dell Outlet. It has a hdmi connection in the back of it. Can I buy a cable to attach it to my sd tv? My tv has an s-video port; composite ports and component ports. If it is impossible, can someone give me examples of graphics cards that I can install inside the computer. The pc has the following slots:

    PCI one 124-pin connector

PCI Express x1 two 36-pin connectors

PCI Express x16 one 164-pin connector

Any help will be appreciated. mary

Hi Burrell. My tv is a dinosaur. It doesn't have the vg- in port. Is there a cable that I can buy that will stream videos from my pc to the tv. The pc has a hdmi port and my tv has composite, component, and s-video ports. any help will be appreciated. mary

Component will give you good quality.

As for a cable I don't think it exits. Not to mention they could have bad signal and give you horrible quality unless your video card and TV support it 100%

I think it would be cheaper to buy a new video card that supports output component video like this one instead of buying a converter. OnBoard video isn't great for streaming but that depends on if it's HD or not.

Is your tv an HD tv? What size is it?
