    Just got a AMW X2220WMS 22" LCD Monitor, :drool Its got DVI-D
    D-SUB HDMI S-VIDEO COMPOSITE Y,Pb,Pr Componant CE FCC TCO'03 TUVGS RoHS COMPLIANT. TROUBLE IS I DONT HAVE A CLUE WHAT IT ALL MEANS. I'M USING WINDOWS XP SERVICE PACK 2, HELP!!!rolleyes

    Just use a DVI cable to plug the monitor into your video card :). If you video card doesn't have a DVI port, then you'll need a db15 to DVI adapter too.

    Yep, just use a standard DVI cable to hook it up.

    If you don't have a DVI plug on your PC, you can get a VGA to DVI adapter. But it looks like this monitor has both VGA and DVI input.

    All the other ports are for multimedia input. Devices like playstation, or Xbox, or DVD players can be attached to the monitor as well. Composite video, red, green, blue, usually, is better than S-video as far as picture quality goes.

    Also, I recommend installing all other updates, set a system restore point, and install SP3. If you are going this far on a monitor, I'd hope your PC can run it, more than likely it will without issue. In addition, I would update to IE8 if you haven't already. Technically, you have a security risk for a PC right now.
