HDTV help.

    My entertainment center revolves around an LG 32" HDTV, and I have a few questions.

    Like an idiot, I didn't do my research, and didn't know about the latency problems, so now my Wii and PS2 lag.

    Since both are being displayed in 480i, Would getting component cables reduce the lag? I was thinking about getting that Xploder thing to have my PS2 display in 720p...would that further reduce lag? And while I play emulators on my PC, I don't seem to notice any lag...so would getting VGA cables for my consoles help even more?
