i just got a lenovo z575 a few weeks ago and somehow the headphone jack is already getting slightly loose and im losing sound in one ear if i touch it the wrong way.

any idea what i can do about this? any tips to keep the jack still? is it hard to get it fixed?? any sort of help would be much appreciated because my music is very important to me

The fix depends on where its broken but will always consist of near complete disassemble of the laptop and the damged connector resoldered to the motherboard or a complete new socket installed. This will void all warranty and to me this isn't an option.

Make sure you use a different set of headphones first though to be sure its not a set of faulty headphones.

It's only a few weeks old so you have a choice to make, return it which is what I'd do or buy a set of USB headphones or a usb to headphone socket converter cable.
