   I currently us a headset with the conventional audio connector but am lookiing a at new headset which has a USB interface. At present, I simply unplug the speakers and plug in the head set to the same connector. When a USB head set is connected, do I still need to unplug the speakers or are they automatically muted?

   i didnt try every brand but if u buy plantronics ones they are automatically muted
