anyone remember the [US] sitcom Carter Country? didn't Kenneth Mars -- he of Springtime for Hitler fame -- play the FIRE CHIEF?!

neither his wiki, the show's wiki, nor the imdb pages for either of them have the slightest mention of this. including in the latter's extensive "full cast" listing.

googling combinations of his name, the show's name, and "fire chief" yields next to nothing. NEXT to, i say, for there is *ONE* hit: "Chief Roy confronts his archenemy Fire Chief Thorpe (Kenny Mars)".

ah -- so i didn't just hallucinate the whole thing!

but still. how does something vanish so thoroughly from wiki, imdb, and google in general? was he involved in some scandal in later life where they made efforts to whitewash the credits?
