hello all long time no see!!

I have a problem... I have a dell dimension 2400 running windows xp. I'm trying to install my printer, but keep getting an error saying could not start print spooler, error 1068 the dependency service or group failed to start, Its not turned off

 

what kind of printer is it?

 

sorry about that I thought I had everything its an epson stylus c66

 

plugs into a usb port

 

problem solved

went to msconfig and booted a normal start up
found new hardware
installed software
everything works now

could it maybie be the printspooler service is turned off? try going to start, control panel, admin tools, services and enable print spooler
just might be that easy!
