hello all problem with windows xp!

hello all, problem with windows xp!:coolI want to open outlook express but it says this. cannot start ms outlook it requires ms oe 4.01 or greater run ie5 setup .exe from the folder located on the cd.I have ie 7 and i have downloaded oe 6.0 but it says there is a newer version on my system running.I am clueless how to proceed?Also my friend has view files in movie mode but i do not have that option how can i get that to view files?:confused But ready to resolve the situation ,hoping someone can shed some light on the situation.Thank you daniel

 

So you have the new OE installed. As a test, create a new limited user account, log on to it, run OE.
