Hello, and help with new thread

    Hello all,

    I have been a long time lurker to these boards, and have gotten some really useful information--thanks to all of you! And I would like to note that this is one of the few boards I have seen that does not consistently rip people's heads off for asking newbie-type questions. That's nice.

    I am now in need of more specific help so I finally registered, but when I try to post a new thread in the Software area, I get the message "Invalid Thread specified" yet it says on the bottom I am allowed to post. I didn't have any trouble posting to this area (obviously) but I don't want to put my question in the wrong place. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

    Spam filter got you, although your post was fine, this happens occasionally, I apologize and have validated your threads. If it makes you feel better, the visitors here dont see hundreds, or thousands of spam post from cars to porn to viagra because of the filter, however it is not 100% accurate :)

    Welcome ...if the post has certain things in it the filter may be catching it ...would try a simplified post in software ( New Thread) ...and welcome to MG's.
