I have been working for hours trying to get rid of the "Vimax" ads. After coming to the site and trying the first steps, which I had already done; well mostly. I almost did not do them again, but since it was being done slightly differently, I went ahead and redid it. It got rid of my problems.

Thanks for having the information laid out very clearly.

if you followed through the entire malware removal procedure outlined in the Read and Run Me First and wish to check for any remaining malware, then ensure you upload the 4 requested logs to a new post here in malware removal.
