Hello from KitGuru Folders!

Hello MajorGeeks.com members,

I just signed up to read the forums here and suspected you might have a folding team, (no html here or I'd be showing my EOC sigbar at the bottom of this post). I originally folded for EOC, and OCN, but they were so huge I was lost. Zardon gave us a start with our own sub forum, and so goes the story of KitGuruFolders.

We started about 13 mo ago, and are at 205th rank now, not at your loftier 141. Not sure when we get under the 200 milestone, but someday not too far off we shall.

I have been to the main site here many times, a trusted one I learned years back. Just out of curiosity, I signed up for the newsletter, love it, and the military theme. Not a lifer myself, but long ago put some little time in the USASA, (disbanded now and absorbed back into MI), plus I grew up in USAF.

Welcome aboard Bruce! Here's your Team Overtake page. Quite impressive really, having 68M points, though you've lost some good members as everyone else has. At least it's cooler now so I fired up my 260 and 470 to offset the points I'm losing due to a lack of -bigadv WU's now. Anyways, fold on brotha!

I only have a Quad8400 at 3.2GHz, which runs daytime in the summer; computer had been off most nights.

Now with the heat being no problem I run it usually overnight, and even throw in my GTX 460 "Lite", or SE. No big guns yet, like 560s and above.

I may shortly get a dual core Xeon running for a customer build, but I'll just have it for a week or so. I find 24/7 folding a more demanding test than short term stress and torture, so it will fold and give me my first numbers above median 17K PPD. I'm a bit anxious to have that experience... :hyper
