Hello i need help my computer keeps restarting

Hello everyone my name is Caleb Atkins I am 14 year old.


My problem is that I keep receiving a error 00X0000007E and I am wondering how to fix this.

I installed my kodak software for my camrea i got at Christmas time and i am wondering if i have to wipe my computer because i do not know if this is fixable


It could be spy ware because my ports are open to host games such as age of empires so please help

BSOD errors are rarely caused by spyware or viruses; malware wants to keep your computer running so it can replicate or steal your data. If a virus was to crash your PC, there'd be nothing in it for the virus writer. Anyway, check the link I've provided. The 7E stop error is almost always due to corrupt drivers, incompatible drivers or hardware, corrupt file system, or failing hard drive. Visit your hard drive maker's web site and download and run their diagnostic tool to make sure your drive is healthy. If it is, and the above link doesn't help, run chkdsk /r from the recovery console. Boot to your XP CD, select 'R' for the recovery console. Note the space before the "/" in the command. Chkdsk can take some time (sometimes overnight!) so be patient.
