...and thought I'd say hi and tell you who I am! :)

First, let me say, this is a very interesting forum. I've been browsing it on and off for some time now, and I think I will enjoy spending time here! :)

I came here because of a problem, of course... But when I'm not in trouble because of what the darn computer does, I do enjoy messing with it. I play some games, mainly 3rd person shooter/adventure. I've played a lot of Tomb Raider over the years.

I have 2 jobs, in the winter I work as a teacher. I teach maritime subjects like navigation, maritime engineering and radio communication. In the summer I work on a boat as a sailor. Mostly as the engineer for some odd reason... Guess that makes this girly geek even geekier... :D

And enough about me! :) At least for now...

    Welcome to MajorGeeks Solange.

I see you're from Stockholm. I travelled all over Europe, and the only place I was robbed was Stockholm. :)

    Most definitely!

    Welcome.

I, too, found my way here because of a problem. I enjoy the site and people here so much that I couldn't leave. There is such a resource of information, I could spend lots of time just reading old posts and "Learning As I Go".

    LAIGo ;)

That is so sad! :( I would say the city is fairly safe, at least I have never seen anything more frightening than myself here... The suburbs can be rough though...

LAIGo, you are right, I've spent a lot of time just browsing already, many exciting topics! :)

Hello and welcome Solange, it must be cold and snowy in Stockholm at this time of year.

 If you are trying to make me blush... then you are doing a very good job! ;)
Trust me though, I don't look like that early Monday mornings on my way to work... It is a sight that scares small children...

    Thanks everyone! :)

Maxwell, it is chilly now, and we have had more snow than usual for being so early in the winter!

These were taken about a month ago. But now all has melted away... :( I hope to get it back soon though, it is so pretty! :)

I think the chances of more snow soon are very likely given your location. I expect you may even have to get chains on the car wheels. Perhaps you can borrow one of the reindeer before they all get used tonight... :D

PS, I second Halo's opinion of the "Snow Queen"...

 You guys are too sweet!

Never had chains on the tires, but we do change to other tires in the winter. Everyone has to, it's the law! So in every person's basement you can find a set of the non season tires! They sure take up a lot of space!
