i need some problem solving ideas about bsod on my cousins pc. seems to be a overheat problem. i'm just getting the info i need to help, he's not to smart when it comes to the workings of a pc and i'm not there.(over the phone uuggg) the only thing i'm confused about is the bsod only happens when he plays games like fallout 3, simms 3 ect.i know that it can be bad ram, gpu, cpu, psu. ohwell this is a money problem and a dummy that can't fallow instructions over the phone. i'm just trying to think things through by posting here. but any ideas are very welcome.one thing his video card is running at 90 or so celcius full out. ati hd 2000 series and his ram is hot to the touch 2gigs one stick. if he had 2 sticks that would be nice pull the first stick and replace with the second usually:-D. no thermal past can't pull the heat sink-cpu. well thanks for reading eg lisening.

Overheating is difficult to fix over the 'phone, get your cousin to turn the PC off, carefully remove the side and clean any dust bunnies from the inside then point a household fan in there from about 2 feet away and start the machine up.
