Hello to all and an introduction

Hello,
I started my internet career on the old Becky!2 support site in the Lavasoft forums as one of the loud voices crying foul and looking for a way to strike back.

Moving up as a moderator and then administrator, I chose to fight by working with, and finally for Lavasoft.

During my time there, I became more and more certain that signature based, brute-force detection and removal techniques were not going to be effective forever. In fact, it was becoming obvious that this methodology was showing its age quite dramatically.

So I left Lavasoft last summer to explore new approaches and technology. This quest has resulted in my joining the team at Returnil SIA, developers of the Returnil Virtual System.
