    RADEON 9800 XT 256MB VIDEO CARD won't sleep

    I'm running a Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5
    with a RADEON 9800 XT 256MB VIDEO CARD
    When my cpu goes into sleep mode my car's fan is still running. How can I make sure my card also goes into sleep mode. I think when I first installed it for a week or so it did go into sleep mode. I checked and don't see any app's open. When I installed it, it was extremely hard to get it's connections to slide in and I'm still not confident that there in as tight as they should be. I also haven't noticed and speed increase.
