    I have windows vista.My friend told my that he uses torrents to download stuff.How safe is that and do you recommend a certain one?

    I also got a dvd burner for the first time and tried to burn a backup of one of my dvds.It doesn't Work.Any help on this would be appreciated 2.

    Hi

    On torrents while many of the applications to download torrents are OK-ish, as in uTorrent, Azureus and Flashget some do come with add-ons which can be concidered spyware, then the biggy to your question is it "safe" well depends what your downloading as many gems do come with unwelcome malware visitors.

    As for the DVD backup, what software us using to achieve this? ( not my strong area is DVD backups so someone else will likely help you with these steps )

    I was hoping i could get some help on what program to get.Someone told me about a dvd decrypter.Dunno though.

    If I was to use a torrent for say downloading music which one do u recommend?

    DvdDecryptor and DvdFABDecryptor are a couple of good freeware tools to get the files off of a dvd disk and onto your hard-drive. Then you can use ImgBurn (freeware) or other burning app to burn the files to another disk. I really really like ImgBurn.

    Check VideoHelp.com, they've got these tools available in the tools section
    as well as many others. Also they have a lot of tutorials, and a very helpful users forum.
