    I have a gateway 6020gz laptop installed ubuntu 9.4 version. But networking is not functioning. How to configure it for networking. As a dual boot Windows XP works fine.

    Wired Network will automatically configure.

    Wireless depends if Linux can find your card and if the drivers are available.
