hmm, it doesnt seem like ur system would be bottlenecking ur card, what psu are u using? sometimes there just isnt enough power to push them to there full potential

i am using a termaltake toughpower 850w this is what was reccomended by slizone to run two 8800gtx's
i thought that was the issue the first time so thats why i bought new power supply

what did you do to get your score from 4800 into the 9000's?

850w! holy hell, well thats not the issue for sure lol

well i just ran ati tool overnight to make sure that it wasnt artifacting and the next morning it scored 9151 i dont what the hell is going on i called evga and they also said that i should be above 1000

i noticed that most peoples frame rates are much higher on the canyon flight test and very similar for all others i cam not to sure what exactly is more demanded by that particular test but i am still able to run bf2142 at full settings above sixty fps but ocsionaly it will drop to the 40s and then cycle back up this is frustrating do you think its my cpu or should i just build another system?

the only thing i can think that would be slowing it down is ur mobo and cpu, the a8n was one of the very first pci-e boards to come out, and ur cpu isnt exactly new either, if its anything they would be ur bottlenecks. Ram is fine, psu is fine, graphics card has no problems at all lol.

dont build a whole new system, if ur gunna get anything new, just get a cpu and mobo, you could option for ddr2 ram, but that doesnt have a huge effect on fps.

Man I have read so much about the 8800GTX way before I bought one, Seems like you should have done more in depth research for the series of card you have. I have the same one as you but I have not used it yet, Man I read that the drivers are buggy as I have been saying for months in rant forums mostly and for the GTX to work with XP you just gotta use the drivers that came with it man DO NOT UPDATE. Nvidia is dropping the ball hardcore man and on top of things I here the new ATi cards are goin to kill the 8800GTX main reason is cause they work with vista and they have no driver issues at all. So what I am telling you to do is try using the original drivers that came with the CD man and keep reading up on where you can get stable drivers or which later drivers will be more stable then the new ones you know? Dude :p read on Newegg theres a tone of crap on there about 8800GTX like 100 people said the same thing.

The main question is, do the games play alright or are you just worried about the numbers ?

Temps do seem a bit on the high side though

i dont think anyone can complain with those figures, if the games run fine, why try fix it, bf2142 if pretty heavy on graphics mind you... and your running it at max settings! thats pretty cool. Remember that every card is different, they wont all perform exactly the same, if the card runs well, and you like it, the benchmark figures are pointless. i used to OC my card alot so i could punch out a few extra numbers on benchmarks, but after a while i came to realise that benchmarks arent important if there is no issue with fps.
