I am trying to install the Rocketfish usb board on my [old] Asus M2N-SLI mb. Everything loads, but device manager says that "device cannot start (code10). I have researched this extensively on the net to no useful outcome. I now note that the Asus PCIe slot is a "1.0" and the Rocketfish manual [very brief] "suggests PCIe 2.0." Is this the source of my problem? If not, any further suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Also, I'm using Win7-64. Thanks again.

    Thanks, gman.

Problem solved. In device manager, looking at a port, there's an option to "scan for hardware changes." Never tired that one before. However, in desperation I tried it and then everything worked. Not sure why I have to tell the opsys to scan for hdwr changes when I've just installed new hdwr w/ drivers. But, there it is. All that said, when rooting around in the original MB box, I found an add-in two port USB board. I installed that one instead of the Rocketfish, and of course it worked fine. Saved $25! At any rate, thanks all for the advice and help.
