Help Building A Pc Rig

I need to get some insight on what i will be putting in my box. So far i have this...

Depends what games you will be playing, then you need to look online for what the 'minimum' and 'recommended' system requirements are for those very specific games.

 

You will be happier longer with "expensive and overkill" than a "good price and adequate".

 

Two little things:

1. Your CPU cooler, while a great one (I have the Hyper 212+ in my PC), is very large, and that motherboard of yours has the CPU socket very close to the memory slots. That means there is a distinct possibility that the cooler or its fan will stick out directly above the slots.

2. The Ripjaws you've chosen are 40 mm tall. The clearance between the motherboard and the heatsink of your Hyper 212 EVO is 37 mm. Not necessarily a show stopper, but certainly something you should be aware of.

One of my beefs with the AMD CPU's is their poor single thread performance numbers and, unless the game or program will use them, any number of cores above two just sit there, twiddling their thumbs (and I've seen it so check the games!).
