help burning dvd's

Hey need some help with burning dvd's. Have a dvd burner and I have been using dvd shrink with nero. I can backup and I have burned a few movies but everyone of them have pauses in them. Need Help any suggestions what could be the problem.

Slow down the burn speed.

 

thank for help but I only burn 4X's and my computer is a pentium 4 cpu 2.66 512 ram

 

What version of shrink?
What version of nero?

What stand alone DVD player? or players?

What media dvds are you using?

What do you have running when you do make (burn a dvd)?

What operating system are you running.?

If you have incd running and not using it shut it down in your startup list (msconfig) shut down what you dont use or are not using, run them when you use them only. You can startup incd by going in your programs list and start it up then use it.
Not that that is causing the problem. It can be many things but you must tell all of what you have and run AND running in the background of your system.

So give the list and we'll go from that.

 

i had this same problem with my nero 6.3 . the movies would stutter about 3/4 through the movie. i was using direct x 9b and i found on there site[nero] a patch for directx9b. i installed this and it was fine after that. also if i was you first make sure that you have the latest updates for nero.there were updates posted on 13/08/2004
